Job Listing: Admin / Social Media Assistant for Brick By Brick Goaltending

Position: Admin / Social Media Assistant
Location: Toronto, ON or Remote
Type: Contractor
Reports to: Josh Roarke/ Owner
Salary: $15-$25/hr, 10-20 hrs/wk

We are a leading Hockey Goalie School dedicated to developing elite-level goaltenders through top-tier training, education, and personalized coaching. We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual to assist with administrative and marketing tasks that help keep our operations running smoothly and engage our growing community of hockey players and parents.

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Client Correspondence: Respond to inquiries from current and prospective clients, including parents, players, and coaches, via email, phone, and other platforms.

  • Scheduling: Manage and organize appointments, training sessions, camps, and events. Coordinate with clients and coaches to confirm availability and manage calendars.

  • Invoicing & Payment Collection: Create and send invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue invoices. Ensure smooth financial processes for clients and internal records.

Social Media & Marketing Support:

  • Social Media Marketing: Develop and execute content plans for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Engage with followers, respond to comments, and promote events, camps, and client successes.

  • Email Marketing: Create, design, and send out weekly or monthly email newsletters to clients, prospects, and leads. Maintain and segment email lists based on client activity.

  • Content Creation: Assist with producing visual and written content for social media, including photos, videos, blogs, and graphics that highlight our programs, coaches, and success stories.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in sports or a similar field. Social media management or marketing experience is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with scheduling tools.

    • Social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and basic graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus.

  • Preferred: A passion for hockey or sports, especially goaltending. Previous experience working in a sports-related environment is an advantage.
