Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse Salary: $31.25-$34.13/hr BOE Schedule: Full-time | Monday- Wednesday-Thursday 8:00 PM- 8:00 AM Location: Dayton, Ohio, and surrounding areas Requirements of the Hospice LPN role: * Licensed Practical Nursing Degree * CPR/BLS Certified * A minimum of 1 year of Clinical experience * Hospice experience preferred * Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage * Reliable transportation About the Hospice LPN role: * Provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of an RN * Assist Registered nurses in carrying out the plan of care. * Assist RN in performing specialized procedures( as defined in the state nurse practice act) as directed by the RN under physician's orders. * Actively participate in the IDGH in collaborating to ensure the patient plan of care is kept current and identified issues are addressed. * Assist reinforcement of patient and family education regarding end-of-life care. * Assume responsibility for personal and vocational growth and development through active participation in nursing organizations and participating in in-service programs and other on-the-job learning. * Keep the RNCM informed of changes noted during the process. * Participate in self-development by practicing further education, workshops, and conferences, active in professional and related organizational meetings, and individual research reading.
