Associate Attorney Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defense litigation and will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and execution of legal strategies to represent our clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Participate in client meetings and provide legal counsel as needed
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court proceedings and mediation sessions
• Manage and maintain case files, including billing and time tracking
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case management

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active state bar membership
• 1-3 years of experience in defense litigation
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with legal billing practices and time management
