Position Overview:
The Audio / Visual Technical Engineer supports the organization’s hardware and software suite used for media, researching best practices, and improving technologies to enhance speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Audio/Video Technical Engineer offers technical and production expertise in planning, scripting, recording, producing, and releasing media to support ARSOA. The engineer assists with obtaining permissions from individuals and copyright/trademark holders for content used in ARSOA media products.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
-Knowledge of computer-based training, multimedia strategies for interactive training programs, audio engineering, video production, lighting techniques, DV and film camera operation, video production techniques, non-linear postproduction editing, and production deployment procedures.
Requirements (Minimum Experience, Education, Skills, Knowledge, and Licensure):
- Minimum of three years’ experience in video and film production.
-Applicants must possess a SECRET Clearance.
Other Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
-Experience using Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Author Ware, Dream Weaver, Flash, and Sound Forge.
