Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
• Construct, assemble, and install cabinets according to specifications and design plans.
• Utilize a variety of woodworking tools and machinery—including all shop machines, table saws, routers, sanders, edge banders, drills, and nail guns—to shape and finish materials.
• Accurately measure, cut, sand, and shape wood materials to ensure precise assembly.
• Perform repairs and modifications on existing cabinetry as needed.
• Verify that cabinets meet all required specifications, including proper sanding, before moving them to the finishing shop.
• Double-check that you have everything needed before heading to the job site to prevent delays.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the construction site.
• Follow all safety protocols when operating tools and machinery.
• Ensure all necessary materials and supplies are on hand before beginning each job.
• Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Must be a team player
Experience
• Must know how to read a tape measure
• Must have at least 2 years experience in cabinet making and installation.
• CNC experience and electrical is a plus but, not required.
• Ability to wire low-voltage lighting for closets and cabinets is essential.
• Knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and safety practices is essential
