As a Chronic In-Center Dialysis Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you'll play a vital role in transforming the lives of patients dealing with renal failure. Working collaboratively within a dedicated healthcare team, you will provide essential care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate patient care by ensuring safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatments.
• Perform essential tasks such as gathering patient statistics before and after treatment, initiating and monitoring treatment, terminating treatment, and collecting blood samples as per physician orders.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality by preparing machines for hemodialysis treatments, cleaning and disinfecting them post-use, and conducting thorough machine safety checks.
• Adhere to all safety measures, including using appropriate personal protective equipment, while ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Engage in professional development through participation in required staff meetings and ongoing education.

Location: South Georgia Clinic, 3564 N Crossing Cir, Valdosta, GA 31602.

What We’re Looking For:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A genuine desire to work in healthcare and support patients.
• Previous healthcare experience, especially in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA, is a plus.
• Comfort in mixing acids and bicarbonate according to established protocols.
• The ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Successful completion of the USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, is required within 8 weeks of hire. CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire. Additionally, Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through an accredited state or national program within 18 months of hire.
