Type: Part-time (2 days/week)
Overview: Mythical is currently seeking an intern to assist the Mythical Kitchen department. Throughout the course of this program, interns will be involved in multiple facets of Mythical Entertainment, with a focus on Food Production. Interns will gain hands-on experience while working closely with various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in some area of Production and Culinary Arts and be pursuing (or recently graduated with) an undergraduate degree in related fields. This is a paid internship and will take place in our studio 2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Creative Development Tasks
- Assisting with beat sheet research (Last Meals, Meals of History, Cheat Meals, International episodes, etc.)
- Assisting with research docs for A Hot Dog is A Sandwich Podcast
- Pitching short form series ideas for IG and TikTok
- Pitching YT episode ideas for Mythical Kitchen
- Pitching succinct and comedic podcast intros
- Shadowing all brainstorm/production meetings with the team
- Creating case studies on fellow YouTube Creators, analyzing how they edit, how food is portrayed, how scripted/unscripted it feels, etc.
- Shadowing the thumbnail development process
Culinary Tasks
- Shadowing our recipe development process
- Assisting the team with mis en place according to the recipe docs
- Receiving and organizing deliveries and breaking down boxes
- Spearheading an R&D project of their choice (i.e. homemade kombucha)
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university
- Rising Junior and above
- Strong interest in Post Production, Culinary Arts, or related creative field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
