Join our team as a DIA Strategic Account Manager, where you will drive innovative strategies to identify and cultivate new opportunities within the Defense Intelligence Agency. This pivotal role translates customer insights into actionable growth initiatives and leads strategic planning for DIA engagements.

In collaboration with senior leadership, you will define and implement growth strategies and business plans, oversee program reviews, assess customer needs, govern investment portfolios, and foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated success at the executive level in expanding business with defense intelligence agencies or similar organizations.
  • Develop and enhance the DIA opportunity portfolio by identifying, prioritizing, and sequencing new business ventures that leverage existing technologies and relationships.
  • Influence early-stage opportunities by shaping requirements and acquisition strategies that align with corporate capabilities.
  • Create and manage growth plans for DIA that align with enterprise strategic objectives across intelligence domains.
  • Lead DIA initiatives by mobilizing a cohesive approach, integrating capabilities across various sectors to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Facilitate alignment between the Growth Organization and operational elements within the organization to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Promote cross-organizational teamwork to accelerate growth by minimizing barriers and aligning incentives.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and marketing efforts for DIA pursuits.
  • Act as a strategic adviser in bid decisions, gate reviews, and pricing strategies.
  • Lead executive engagements and conduct research to proactively address DIA's evolving mission needs and develop capture strategies.
  • Manage relationships with industry organizations, recommending Leidos' participation in trade shows and relevant events.
  • Build and maintain senior-level connections within DIA, continuously benchmarking competitor capabilities against DIA's requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Established executive-level relationships with Diaz leaders, showcasing the ability to influence strategic decisions.
  • A bachelor's degree along with 15+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may be substituted for formal education.
  • 10+ years in executive leadership roles within the defense, intelligence, or government services sectors, encompassing business development and oversight.
  • Proven track record in leading and sponsoring opportunities over $100M, contributing to win strategy development with DIA and DoD clients.
  • Expertise in identifying and leveraging strategic alliances within DIA.
  • Understanding of government contracting norms, acquisition trends, and DIA-specific processes.
  • Experience in intelligence operations, including counterintelligence and analysis.
  • History of guiding advanced technology portfolios to support intelligence missions.
  • Keen awareness of competitor behaviors within the DIA marketplace.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to high-level executives and governance forums.
  • Experience managing a qualified pipeline exceeding $4B with effective prioritization practices.
  • Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business, international relations, or a related field.
  • Prior leadership roles supporting DIA missions.
  • A diverse network within the Intelligence Community, with experience in cross-agency solutions.
  • Successful integration of complex solutions for intelligence clients and leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading multi-sector collaborations for large-scale contracts and strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of emerging intelligence mission areas, translating them into funded strategies.
  • Recognition as a trusted advisor to DIA, influencing strategy and resource allocation.
