As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will be a vital member of a dedicated team providing compassionate care and treatment activities to patients with renal failure. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN), you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our patients.
What you'll be doing
Patient care. You will engage directly with patients to deliver safe, comfortable, and top-notch dialysis treatment. Your responsibilities will include measuring vital patient statistics before and after treatment, initiating and monitoring treatment, concluding treatment, and collecting blood samples following physician orders.
Technician Duties. You will prioritize quality by preparing dialysis machines, cleaning and disinfecting them post-treatment, and performing machine safety checks, logging results for quality control while ensuring adherence to all necessary protocols and regulations.
Safety and Quality. You will apply appropriate safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment. Operating under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will comply with all company policies and state/federal regulations. Your participation in required staff meetings and continuing education is essential.
The Dialysis Patient Care Technician position is based at the Mansfield Clinic, located at 300 Executive Center Drive, Suite 101, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
