Overview Position Title: Federal Work Study - Office Assistant, Somatic Counseling Number of Openings: 1 Department/Program: Somatic Psych 12020 Work Location: Hybrid On-Site/Remote Campus Location: Nalanda Campus Reports to: Chair, MA Clinical Mentha Health Counseling FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly FTE: 13% (5 hrs/week) Compensation: $18.00 per hour Application Deadline: 7/21/25 or until filled Job Summary The candidate for this position will support the GSCP Somatic Counseling department by assisting with daily administrative functions, providing logistical and organizational assistance to the department chairs and visiting teachers, and contributing to the planning and execution of department events. This requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment. Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide administrative support. Assist faculty with logistical planning for orientation and graduation. Assist with student engagement and community building. Assist with the organization of 2 separate curriculum running concurrently. Assist with the assessment and implementation of neurodiversity informed readings and learning into the curriculum. All leave accrual rates vary based on the position, hours worked, and years of service.
