Job Description

Description: The FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities within the finance department. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization to gather data, analyze financial performance, and provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of financial concepts and business operations. Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Collaborate with department heads to gather and validate budget data. Develop financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators to identify trends and variances. Prepare regular financial reports for senior management, highlighting key findings and insights. Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiati Data Management and Integrity: Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in the company's systems. Maintain financial databases and ensure data consistency across various reports. Reconcile data discrepancies and resolve any data-related issues. Business Partnership: Work closely with business units to understand operational needs and financial impacts. Provide financial guidance and support to organization Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss financial performance and strategic initiatives. Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial planning and analysis activities. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and automation initiatives. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in risk assessments and scenario planning to support strategic decision making. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or other related field. 3 years+ of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or accounting. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency with financial planning software or ERP systems - preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business operations.
