What We Need:

What You'll Do:

The Cyber Security Intern will take part in a number of exciting ongoing day to day cyber operations and projects, which include:
  • Developing Information Security Standards, which establish safe computing guidelines
  • Evaluating threat intelligence data while converting the findings to actionable countermeasures
  • Participate in Cyber Team Incident Response Threat Mitigation Activities
  • Learn skills in Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Network and Endpoint Security
  • Improve your understanding of threat landscapes that can compromise systems & company data
  • Learn different Cyber & Financial Security Frameworks such as NIST, COBIT and PCI

Experience:
  • Working towards a Bachelor s degree from a 4-year institution; 3.0 GPA (strongly preferred)
  • Working towards one of the following information security certifications (CEH, CISSP, SANS)
  • Actively competing in university or industry cyber attack simulations (red/blue team)
  • Actively participating in at least one academic or industry Cyber Security Association
  • Academic background in information security/risk analysis, incident response, computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content
  • Great attitude and hunger for learning and an ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of common information/cyber security technologies (e. g. Firewalls, NIDS/HIDS, Web Proxies, Vulnerability Scanners
