Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee custom capital equipment projects from concept through commissioning. Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex finishing systems to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for finishing systems
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
• Serve as primary customer contact throughout project lifecycle
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and field service teams
• Monitor progress and proactively address risks, delays, and scope changes
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (RoHS, REACH, OSHA)
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
• Prepare project status reports for senior management and stakeholders

Key Challenges

• Managing custom engineering designs and evolving requirements
• Mitigating supply chain disruptions and long lead times
• Coordinating site readiness and installation constraints
• Balancing demanding timelines with performance guarantees
• Resolving technical issues during commissioning

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience in equipment manufacturing (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology (preferred)
• Understanding of surface finishing (highly preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in MS Project and ERP systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• PMP certification a plus
