We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee various government and commercial contracts within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a long-term contract position based in Washington, DC, where you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, financial oversight, and customer engagement, along with the ability to manage technical and operational aspects effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to meet client requirements and organizational goals.

• Oversee project teams, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule, scope, and budget.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing concerns and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Ensure compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and organizational policies.

• Manage cost, schedule, and technical baselines for assigned projects.

• Facilitate project initiation activities, including developing plans and budgets.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Conduct project closeout activities, including gathering lessons learned and ensuring proper documentation.

• Collaborate with subcontractors, task leaders, and support teams to achieve high-quality outputs.

• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of contract compliance and government or commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with system integration or projects involving technical content.
• Project management certification, such as PMP or equivalent, is highly recommended.
