Rolling V Bus Corp. is seeking a School Bus Aide to assist students in safely boarding and disembarking from the school bus. The role involves participating with the bus driver in passenger management, communicating with parents/guardians and school officials, and reporting incidents occurring on the route. The aide must be observant, courteous, and respectful, and may be required to cross students or assist in backing-up procedures. In case of emergencies, the aide must act according to provided training. Typical work hours: 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., with hours potentially increasing after initial training and placement on a permanent route. Training is provided and paid. Requirements include: Completion of NYS and Federal background check and documentation. Providing valid ID and references. History of residential addresses and authorization for background checks. Pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol test, and physical performance test. Compensation: Base pay rate of $16.00/hour, with a daily guarantee of 4 hours. Pay is provided for all hours worked over the guarantee.
