Mom, when she is comfortable, likes to talk about Turkish film and music artists from the mid to late 60's. She likes to cook and could use a friend to cook with and share recipes. She could benefit from a friend to watch the news, Turkish SOAP operas, and mystery shows like Monk and Columbo. Mom is recovering well from Colorectal Cancer surgery and is fully independent with toileting and bathing. She has neuropathy from her toes to her knees so she walks very carefully and has not fallen. She does not have a very good memory and has a childlike demeanor. She loves animals and nature. Her primary and preferred language is Turkish.
