Job Description

Adecco is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to work in the .  The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight (warehouse transfers and vendor direct) as well as routing of shipments to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role also coordinates and prepares “Customer Pick Ups” orders, performs order entry to confirm invoiced shipments and unloads, inspects and receives product into internal systems and labels product appropriately. The selected individual will properly classify product, ensure product locations match with operating systems and will accurately complete shipping documents, and bills of lading. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Day to day functions):
•    Pull, pack and process orders in our Sage ERP for freight and small parcel.
•    Receiving inspection of inbound product including unloading trucks, following the receiving inspection QC guidelines, processing purchase orders in Sage ERP to the completion of receipt of goods. 
•    Stock and pull inventory parts for receiving and outbound orders
•    Scheduling of outbound freight, small parcel, and outside process.
•    Report damage and discrepancies of incoming product to Quality.
•    Prepare all necessary documentation for both domestic and international freight and small parcel outbound.
•    Maintain accurate shipping documents including weights, dimensions, tracking and pro numbers.
•    Schedule pickups and deliveries with couriers and company-owned vehicles.
•    Drive company-owned vehicles to suppliers and customer for inbound and outbound product.
•    Conduct weekly and monthly cycle counts as well as yearly physical inventory of all finished goods and raw material.
•    Maintain inventory reports and assist with replenishments.
•    Packaging of small parcel orders and large freight items including boxing, pallet making, banding and crating to ensure product is protected.
•    Operate forklift daily to move product.
•    Maintain work area cleanliness.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•    High school diploma or G.E.D. required, 
•    Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
•    Must be proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel (including working with formulas; macro knowledge a plus)
•    Must have a Valid Drivers License 
•    Excellent communications skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
•    Highly organized and pays close attention to detail
•    Must be able to lift 35 lb box
•    Adherence to all safety policies and regulations.

Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend, pull, and twist. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus


Work Environment:
This position is performed in a non-climate-controlled temperature environment. Incumbent in this role will be required to maintain a flexible work schedule to achieve objectives.

Additional requirements:

Must have current Forklift Certification


Pay: $17.00/hr

Shift:

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Occasional Overtime with prior approval.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
