Black Seed Bagels is a fast growing, wood-fired bagel bakery with ten locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Black Seed’s artisanal product has been featured on the Food Network, the Travel Channel, Good Day NY, and in such publications as the New York Times , New York Magazine , Time Out , The Village Voice and more.

We are currently looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic, self-starter to manage one of our Black Seed locations. The Store Manager role is a full-time, hands on position, with lots of room for growth. Applicants should be kind, team-oriented, and have the ability to train staff. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills with an interest in food that is fresh, thoughtful and artisanal.

Qualifications and Skills

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience
• Exhibit dedication to a hands-on management driven service
• Strong leader and trainer
• A minimum of four years of recent restaurant/bagel management experience.
• Steady, stable employment with a proven track record.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to control all costs.

Attractive Operating Hours (No Late Nights!) 45+ hour work week. Weekends are a must.
