Position Title: Travel -Mental Health Technician
Location: St. Helena, CA, USA
Shift: Day Shift (12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Salary Range: $15 - $27 per hour


Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Mental Health Technician to join our team in St. Helena, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health settings and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.
• Monitor patients' behavior and provide support in daily activities, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Document patients' progress and report any significant changes in behavior or condition to the healthcare team.
• Facilitate group activities and therapy sessions, encouraging patient participation and engagement.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients while fostering a positive therapeutic relationship.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Mental Health Technician or similar role in a mental health setting preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and observational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
