• Location: Houston, TX 77054 (Texas Medical Center)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Level 3 & 4 NICU (146 beds)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job\n
• Start Date: October 27, 2025\n
• End Date: January 26, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7P-7A)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,800\n
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Monday/Friday shifts per 4-week schedule\n
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Texas RN license (or compact state license)\n
• Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience\n
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification\n
• Proficient in infant assessment, IV management, and respiratory support\n
• Level 4 NICU experience preferred\n
• Strong communication skills with a focus on parent satisfaction and patient safety\n

\n\nNICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver specialized neonatal nursing care in Level 3 & 4 NICU settings\n
• Conduct infant assessments and manage IVs and respiratory support\n
• Assist with procedures: lumbar punctures, central line placements, circumcisions, and eye exams\n
• Float to all NICU areas, general nursery, and pediatric units as needed\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
• Ensure compliance with hospital guidelines, dress code, and infection control standards\n
