HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Glendive, Montana.
Job Description & Requirements Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Location: Glendive, MT
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric patients
\tDeliver respiratory therapy services in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics
\tAssist with airway management , including intubation assistance, extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
\tManage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation , CPAP, BiPAP, and High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
\tPerform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and capillary blood gases
\tAdminister respiratory medications via nebulizers, MDIs, aerosol masks, and trach delivery systems
\tSupport high-risk deliveries , neonatal respiratory care, and inter-departmental patient transports
\tPerform pulmonary function testing , spirometry, stress testing, and bronchial provocation testing as needed
\tProvide oxygen therapy using various delivery devices including masks, ET tubes, trach collars, and T-pieces
\tAssist with emergency response, trauma cases, and rapid response situations
\tDocument patient care accurately and timely using the Cerner charting system
\tCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
\tFloat within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential long-term care support
\tMinimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
\tExperience in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics
\tStrong knowledge of ventilator management, oxygen delivery systems, and pulmonary hygiene
\tProficiency in airway management and respiratory emergencies
\tAbility to care for patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COVID-19, respiratory failure, and aspiration
\tExperience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory disorders preferred
\tAbility to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotation
\tStrong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
\tFirst-time travelers accepted
\tRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required
\tState Respiratory Therapy License – Required
\tBLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
\tACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
\tPALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
\tNRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
