Unarmed Security Officers - Various locations within Montgomery County Responsibilities Perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post. Patrol and monitor exterior and community areas on-premises. Control access of entrances and exits, and departure of employees and visitors. Monitor surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities. Use provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely. Perform CPR or first aid when needed. Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements. Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager. Job Skills / Requirements Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be able to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract. Required Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) recognized by the U.S. Associate’s Degree Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an Unarmed security officer. Must have a current and valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/permit. Knowledgeable of the security industry. Must have a customer service driven mindset. Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients.
