Job Summary
We are looking for a Video Editing & Production Intern to join our team at StoryBrand & Business Made Simple. This role will support a variety of projects including but not limited to: video editing, production set up, and organizing footage. The internship starts in August/September and goes through December. At the end of December, we will evaluate performance, position fit, and goals to determine an extension through May 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Use footage from podcasts, webinars, and other video shoots to create clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn
- Incorporate b-roll and current trends into edits, ensuring to also account for platform specific editing styles
- Assist with the set up for various shoots including set design and equipment set up (cameras, lights, etc.)
- Transfer and organize footage from memory cards to our storage systems
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience with After Effects and/or Photoshop is a bonus!
- Experience creating video content for social platforms
- Experience creating video thumbnails for social platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiar with trends and creating content tailored to those trends
- Critical thinker and problem-solver
- Can clearly and succinctly communicate both verbally and in writing
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn
Experience
- Currently enrolled in college
- Pursuing a degree in a related field
Position Details
- 10-15 hours per week
- Located in Nashville, TN
- Hourly rate: $14/hour
