About The Role

We are looking for a Freelance YouTube Video Editor to own the editing of longform educational and professional content for our GBS Group YouTube channel.

Location: Remote Anywhere in LATAM
Job Type: Freelance
Compensation: USD

Key Responsibilities

• Edit longform YouTube videos (webinars, educational and business content).
• Structure videos to improve audience retention, watch time, and clarity.
• Add intros, outros, lowerthirds, captions, and onscreen graphics when needed.
• Apply color correction, audio optimization, and overall quality enhancements.
• Ensure visual consistency between videos and thumbnails to strengthen channel identity.
• Analyze YouTube trends and best practices to optimize CTR and retention.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to align content with brand voice and goals.
• Deliver content on time and implement feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Guarantee delivery of 1 YouTube video per week (approx. 4 per month).
• Videos may range between 8 to 20 minutes in duration.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing YouTube longform content, educational or professional.
• Experience with content related to business, finance, taxes, investments, accounting, or professional services.
• Experience in entertainment, film, lifestyle, travel, gaming, humor, or unrelated niches will not be considered.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects is a plus.
• Solid understanding of YouTube analytics, retention strategies, and CTR optimization.
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, professional edits.
• Ability to meet deadlines, especially during highdemand periods.
• Advanced level of both Spanish and English is essential to ensure seamless editing across languages.

Plus

• Ability to adapt YouTube content, repurposing longform videos into shorter and engaging clips optimized for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube shorts.
• Experience designing YouTube thumbnails.
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO and content optimization.
