Reporting to the Vice President of Administration, you will be responsible for the Billing/Collections/Receipts cycles for various divisions within the Group. In addition, you will be involved in general accounting duties as assigned.

Specific duties:

· Prepare, Process and verify billings to ensure that all clients are billed accurately, consistently within client requirements and on a timely basis;

· Inquire and investigate all billings issues;

· Maintain complete records on all accounts including detailed documentation on collection calls;

· Contact customers immediately to resolve any remittance & or PO discrepancies;

· Process and post daily deposits to proper customer accounts and invoices:

· Interface with management in communicating and resolving collection issues;

· Generate AR aging report for bi-weekly meetings and identify critical issues;

· Prepare monthly receivables collection forecast;

· Prepare monthly reporting package of ratio of accounts receivables outstanding to sales;

· Billing for various divisions with the Group of Companies;

· Monthly Bank Reconciliations;

· Other general duties as required.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

· 2-3 years experience in a similar role;

· Post secondary education in finance or accounting or equivalent accounting experience;

· Above average skills in Excel and ability to work with more complex spreadsheets;

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

· Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks;

· Ability to work independently and within a group to meet tight reporting deadlines;

· Strong teamwork skills;

· Prior experience in the construction industry would be an asset;

· Proficiency in English and French would be an asset;

· Proficiency with Word, Outlook an asset;
