Delivery Van Driver responsible for delivering insulation products to job sites according to a pre‑determined driving schedule, ensuring on‑time delivery and professional interaction with customers. The role may also include warehouse support, such as loading/unloading trucks, assisting with production, and moving materials and products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver products within a pre‑determined driving schedule at the appropriate job site Load and unload trucks of products and materials Ensure truck maintenance standards are met Perform daily pre‑trip inspections, complete pre‑inspection forms, and conduct minor maintenance as needed Report any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Plant Manager immediately Complete daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations Process paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading Ensure the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collect on COD charges when specified Verify material counts are correct upon delivery to maintain inventory accuracy Escalate any issues discovered at the job site during delivery to the Plant Manager immediately Assist with production in plant when needed Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) One year of experience in a production or warehouse environment (preferred) Maintain a driving record that meets the company’s insurance requirements (required) Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card (required) Minimum 12 months experience operating a forklift (plus) Maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record as required for driving duties Benefits Health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; wellness program with incentives 401(k) with generous company match, Health Savings Account option, and life & disability insurance Paid time off and holidays for work‑life balance Employee discounts, company events, and recognition programs ***This employment advertisement is not applicable to individuals who reside in the states of California or Colorado.*** Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Management and Manufacturing Industries Wholesale Building Materials Location: La Grange, IL #J-18808-Ljbffr Bay Insulation Supply
