CoWorx is looking for a motivated and reliable Food Production Team Member – Kitchen Prep to support our culinary production team in the York, ME area!
This role plays a key part in preparing and processing our quality food products according to established recipes and standards. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a supportive and inclusive environment, we’d love to hear from you!
With an early 4:30 AM start, you’ll finish your workday by 1:00 PM—giving you the rest of the afternoon and evening to yourself Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Support Cooks in preparing and processing ingredients according to company recipes and procedures
• Prepare raw materials and ingredients, including weighing, measuring, and transferring
• Set up and assist with kettles and fillers to ensure smooth production
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
• Follow all company policies regarding safety, sanitation, GMPs, food safety, and quality standards
• Communicate any concerns or maintenance needs to supervisors
• Cross-train for roles on the manufacturing line and in the York warehouse as needed
• Be available for occasional overtime, depending on business needs
• Complete tasks as assigned, including compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SOP protocols

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or kitchen prep is a plus
• Familiarity with basic math and measurement skills
• Experience using scales and handling weights and measures is helpful
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
