Position: Language and Product Analysis Intern - Specializing in Gaming and Anime

About the Role:

Join us as a passionate Language and Product Analysis Intern focusing on the gaming and anime sectors! This dynamic role, ideal for gaming and anime enthusiasts, involves translating content between Chinese, Japanese, and English while analyzing market trends. You will work onsite in Los Angeles (5 days a week) and leverage your language skills and analytical abilities in an exciting, collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Translate engaging content related to gaming, anime, and manga between Chinese, Japanese, and English.
  • Employ diverse data analysis tools to extract, process, and visualize valuable insights.
  • Examine trends and user preferences within the gaming and anime communities.
  • Support localization and cultural adaptation initiatives for various content.
  • Collaborate with team members on entertaining projects within the pop culture landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Chinese, Japanese, and English.
  • A genuine passion for gaming, anime, and animation.
  • Familiarity with gaming and anime/manga industry-specific terminology.
  • Preferred experience in Game/Animation/Entertainment sectors.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) is a plus.
  • Be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, working onsite 5 days a week.

The expected base pay range for this position is $23.66 to $40.39 per hour. Actual pay is determined by market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, actual placement of work, and experience.

This role comes with paid sick leave accruing at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, plus up to 13 paid holidays annually. Full-time interns can also enroll in the Company-sponsored medical plan, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
